Alarm Response

All security patrol officers employed by Loganholme Security Services are licensed with the Queensland Government Department of Justice and Attorney-General. As part of their licensing requirements, all security officers must clear an in depth police background checks and finger printing.

Most alarm activations occur at night after normal business hours, when staff are asleep in bed. By having Loganholme Security Services respond to your alarm activations, we can take the hassle and potential danger from having you, or your staff, investigate your alarm.

Because Loganholme Security Services has a fleet of patrol vehicles covering an area from Brisbane to the Gold Coast, we can keep our response times down. Quicker responses can sometimes mean less property damage or theft. If keys and codes are provided, we can also carry out internal checks and reset your alarm.

All of our security officers are uniformed and our patrol vehicles are clearly marked. An alarm activation is usually inconvenient and often a burden to key holders. Loganholme Security Services provides an Alarm Response Service to minimise disruption, both at work and at home. We can act as your key holders, responding to each and every alarm activation, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Loganholme Security Services will deal with any criminal act and liaise with Police Officers, obtaining crime or incident reference numbers where appropriate.

Loganholme Security Services can organise the appropriate repairs to be carried out to secure your property.

Our security officers remain on the site until your home or premises have been secured, the alarm has been reset and any danger to you or your staff is removed.

In the event of a false alarm, we aim to identify the cause of the activation and secure the premises quickly and efficiently and reset the alarm before leaving site.

A full report on all alarm activations, regardless of cause, is supplied for your information.

Many organisations are recognising that an independent key holder eliminates many Health and Safety issues for both employers and employees. Our officers are trained to a high standard in law and communication skills, which enable them to deal successfully with the variety of situations that can occur.

In many cases, insurance companies respond favourably when you use an independent professional security company as your key holder.

Receiving a telephone call in the early hours of the morning can be a key holder’s worst nightmare.

Remember “Murphy’s Law” and Consider the following:

– Can you hear your phone ringing ?
– Can you attend within 30 minutes ?
– Are you prepared to attend ?
– Have you been drinking ?
– Are you out with the family ?
– What danger might you face ?
– What problems will you find ?
– How long will it take to deal with ?
– If there is damage do you have contact details to have the building secured ?
– Are you prepared to stay onsite until the building has been secured ?

If you are a patrol customer of Loganholme Security Services you have the choice of when an alarm is activated for the patrol to attend the site directly (an alarm response is charged) or to check on their next patrol which the response is not charged.
